Journey to Stardom By Morayo Oshodi

I learnt to sew and trade at a very young age. I learnt the skill first from my mother who had a small store. She converted the garage of our house to a shop where she sold foodstuffs that include rice, beans, honey, yam flour etc. I loved it because I knew that when it was my turn to help in her store I made sure I gave a good customer experience to our customers. However, There were some disadvantages, one major one was when debtors refused to pay. It was difficult going to their houses to collect our money, this affected my pocket money the following day. They had a bad attitude when it came to paying for what they bought. This fueled my passion and interest in sales and marketing. It also led me to pursue a career in digital/online marketing where you can sell from the comfort of your home country and still ship your goods and services to other parts of the country and the world. I started a cushion business that allowed me to make (sewing) and sell cushions using local materia
